6. Payment Terms
The following Payment Terms are an integral part of these TOS. By subscribing to Nora’s services, the Customer agrees to these Payment Terms.
6.1 Subscription Billing
- Billing Cycle Nora’s services are offered on a subscription basis (“Subscription(s)”), billed in advance on a recurring basis (“Billing Cycle”). Billing Cycles may be monthly, annual, or any other period specified at sign-up.
- Automatic Renewal At the end of each Billing Cycle, the Subscription will automatically renew under the same terms unless cancelled by the Customer or by Nora. The Customer may cancel any time by following the instructions in their account settings or by contacting Nora at [email protected].
- 7-Day Free Trial Nora may offer a 7-day free trial for new Customers. If the Customer does not cancel before the end of the 7-day free trial, the Subscription automatically transitions into a paid subscription, and the Customer’s payment method will be charged.
6.2 Payment Information
-
Valid Payment Method A valid payment method (e.g., credit card) is required to process subscription payments. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete billing information, including full name, billing address, and payment method details.
-
Payment Authorization By providing payment information, the Customer authorizes Nora to charge the applicable subscription fees, including any taxes, to the payment method provided.
6.3 Free Trials & Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
-
Free Trials During the free trial period, no charges apply.
- If the Customer does not cancel before the end of the free trial, the Subscription transitions to a paid plan, and the Customer’s payment method is charged for the first Billing Cycle.
- If the Customer cancels during the free trial, they retain access until the trial ends; no charges will be made.
-
14-Day Right of Withdrawal If you are a consumer residing in the European Economic Area, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. However, by signing up for Nora’s 7-day free trial and explicitly agreeing to the immediate provision of our digital services, you acknowledge that once the free trial ends and the paid Subscription begins, you lose your right to withdraw unless you have not used the service at all after it transitions into a paid Subscription.
- If you realize you forgot to cancel and were charged, but you have not used the service at all during the paid period, you can contact Nora within 14 days of the charge at [email protected] for a full refund.
- If the service was used (e.g., logged in, took lessons, or otherwise accessed content) after it became paid, you acknowledge that the withdrawal right no longer applies.
6.4 Promotions and Discount Codes
-
Eligibility Nora may provide promotional offers or discount codes (“Promotions”). Promotions are subject to the terms specified at the time of the offer. Promotions are typically limited to one per Customer and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

-
Usage Restrictions Promotions cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or resold.
-
Refunds and Adjustments Promotions are not retroactive. Refunds for purchases made with a discount code will reflect only the amount paid after the discount.
6.5 Changes to Billing Terms
Nora reserves the right to modify Billing Cycles or subscription fees at its discretion. Any changes will be communicated to the Customer in advance and will apply starting with the next Billing Cycle.
6.6 Refund Policy
-
Non-Refundable Fees Subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or explicitly provided under Clause 6.3 (Right of Withdrawal) above.
-
Cancellation and Access If the Customer cancels a paid Subscription, access continues until the end of the current Billing Cycle. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused time.
